GHOSTWRITING

"Your story is imperative to the completion of the all-important Universe story." - John Moat

Many years ago, I was working with the writer John Moat, when he asked me a question that stopped me in my tracks. "When are you going to write your story, Lorna?" I was flummoxed, as I had been making all sorts of excuses for not starting the novel that was brewing inside me. And that was when he said something that has stayed with me for the rest of my life: "Your story is imperative to the completion of the all-important Universe story."

This is the starting point for my Ghostwriting service: that stories are important and that without your own story, the Universe story will be incomplete. The telling of your story is a mysterious process that always brings unexpected gifts, sometimes real challenges and often great revelations in its wake. Yet it is true that whilst everyone has a story, many people are unable to write it – due perhaps to lack of time, lack of confidence in their own writing ability or a fear of putting pen to paper. There are myriad reasons why you might need a ghostwriter, but that is not what interests me – it's your story that does.

This service is a bespoke package that can take you all the way from construction of initial ideas and narrative arc, right up to publication. For that reason, we would need to have a conversation first before I can quote as your ghostwriter. It will not be cheap, because writing a book is a lengthy process – but if you would like your story to be told, then why not contact me and I can guide you through next steps. There's one thing for sure, a book written under your name is one of life's great achievements.
