Plant Sales at Samphire

Twenty years ago, when I lived on a smallholding in mid-Devon, I ran a plant nursery called Wildwood, where I sold wild, edible or useful plants. My love of Nature and gardening has never dwindled though my circumstances changed and the nursery had to close. Now I find myself in a position to be able to offer a new range of plants for sale outside my garden gate, here on the north Devon coast in the hamlet of Stoke. Grown organically, the plants I sell are those I love best and have in my garden. They are not necessarily wild, edible or useful (though many are), they are simply beautiful in their own right and for many and varied reasons, they give me joy. In this section of my website I explain why that is, and also how best to grow them. I do not currently offer an online delivery service.
